The Capital Market Jobs business model is specifically
designed to fill the professional vacuum between the services
of a job board to those of your more traditional suppliers.
Generally, the former are not user-friendly, with inadequate
search, filtering and Candidate management tools - while the
latter’s fees can either be too highly structured, or
just structured too high!
Every recruiting institution within the capital markets will
have at least one cost-effective on-line supplier. CMJ are
the specialists covering virtually all the back and front
office functions - which due to an ability to automatically
translate precise vacancy specifications into 8 different
languages, enables you to reach out to an international pool
of candidates and effectively mange the responses.
Please note that Capital Market Jobs will not advertise for
other agencies.
For a small quarterly fee, all our Clients will have direct
unlimited access to a constantly updated Candidate databank
who have registered their CV with us and are actively looking
for the right opportunity. This office checks the basic requirement
that all registering Candidates attach a matching CV to their
precise on-line skill profile before the Candidate
is authorised to use the system. Our confidentiality model
incorporating various Blocking measures not only encourages
Candidates of all levels of seniority to register with CMJ,
it also forms a very solid platform in which we as a company
could adapt to any further tightening of the Data Protection
Codes. Effectively, our Candidates retain complete control
of their CVs and on request, may release it on-line to a vacancy
/search conducted through our system. See the Privacy button
above or Candidate Anonymity below.
Similarly all Client vacancies/searches can (initially) be
placed by recruiters in complete anonymity, with full name
disclosure or alternatively, in CMJ’s name if you want
us to handle the responses; however, all CV download requests
to Candidates must be on a name give up basis. The
result is that our unique filtering system provides Clients
with experienced Candidates to their exact specification ready
for the next stage of the recruitment process.
An added feature of our site is a separate registered Graduate
section, which allows job seekers with no current capital
market experience the facility to post their CV behind a more
education orientated Profile in order to attract capital market
opportunities. Our search functionality on this section can
among others, list Graduates in university, course attended
and/or grades order and enable you to post vacancies for full
time, intake or holiday/year out positions.
All managed via a (master) password, additional users can
be authorised in-house so that they may use the on-line tools
to contact, sort and shortlist candidates in their own business
area. This user-friendly CV management system is independent
of internal network requirements and can be used internationally.
For our service levels, see Basic Fee Structure below.
With the main exceptions of HR and IT, the business areas
covered and replicated to a very specific industry standard
are:
Back/Middle Office.
All Settlements, Admin/Legal and Compliance.
Front Office.
Forex, Structured Finance, Corporate Finance, Syndication/Origination,
Derivatives.
All Sales, Trading, Broker, Sales-Trading, Research and Stocklending/Borrowing
roles.
When posting a vacancy or conducting a search, our Clients
can choose how broad the Candidate response will be. The tick-box
selecting of a fairly general specification will encourage
a far larger applicant list than a search/vacancy result using
more precise skill-sets that could provide matched results
of 100%.
The Auto Candidate Seeker function allows a Client to be
informed on the system as soon as an ideal candidate enters
our system. This feature is designed to facilitate recruitment
in high-demand or rare skill-sets.
If after a couple of days a Candidate does not respond to
any on-line Client request e.g. release of their CV, we have
built into your system a mobile phone message alert facility,
which prompts the Candidate to visit their computer. For a
full explanation, see SMS Candidate Messaging below.
Explanations:
Candidate Anonymity Controls
- Encryption. When a Candidate registers all their
contact details (including the email address used to correspond
with employers) are hidden by security encryption unless
they specifically request that they be shown.
- Blocking. Again during the registration process,
Candidates have the option of blocking several institutions
from accessing their Profile. These can be current, previous
employers, or institutions that they are already interviewing
with. The Profiles can only be seen by Clients authorised
to access the system by us - and should any of those institutions
designated by the candidate sign up at a later date, the
“blocking” is retroactive.
- Final CV Release. Through our purposely designed
two-way radio button type request and responses checklist,
any institution requesting to see a Candidates CV on-line
will advise who they are – and then only the Candidate
can release it! Similarly, if CMJ are acting for a Client
on a search and have made up a short list of Candidates
to be presented, we guarantee the Candidate the same authorisation
process will be completed before forwarding any CVs.
Basic Fee Structure
For a small quarterly fee, Clients may hire as many candidates
from our system as they like and apart from the initial Candidate
registration checks, we may take no further part in the recruitment
process. If however CMJ is required to conduct a traditional
search and present a shortlist to the Client, our successful
placement fee is based on a fixed percentage of the
Candidates first year salary only; and we can virtually guarantee
that this rate will be lower than your current suppliers.
The flexibility of our system allows registered Clients the
option of using CMJ as recruiters and this can depend on the
requirements of each business area or departmental needs.
Clients may request further information including rates via
the Register button on the Homepage
SMS Candidate Messaging
If upon an emailed request to release their CV a Candidate
does not respond within a couple of days, if Candidate enabled,
either the Client or CMJ may send (at our expense) an SMS
message stating that such a request has been emailed to the
Candidates designated address. As this would expedite the
recruitment process, we have set the registration default
to a ‘yes, but only after 6 p.m.’ setting.
The alternative candidate choices are ‘No’ or
‘SMS anytime’.
